Holy moly, the focaccia is incredible! A very friendly employee told me he was giving me the “biggest pieces we have today” and I'm so glad they did - we loved them! We've also gotten their cake jars before and enjoyed them. Service was welcoming and helpful. It's not really a cafe where you might sit down and hang out, but rather more grab-and-go. I feel like their name doesn't do service to their amazing breads which account for a good portion of their products. Overall, highly recommend!

This is one of the truest local pastry places you can find in the South Bay. Small-batch bakery with authentic recipes. Their original sourdough bread has a very balanced taste that combines sourness and sweetness. It lasts for over a week in our home and doesn’t dry out as quickly as the ones from Acme. And some of their sourdough-based pies feel so delicious and creative they make you feel like you visited a Narnia feast :) Kids approved!! And obviously, baked with love. Highly recommend.

Savory not sugary. Smaller selection than I anticipated. Coffee was delicious!!!! Did not care for atmosphere as it was more like a quick drop in to get bread or croissant. Not impressed but the lady at the counter was friendly, sweet, explained selection carefully and I appreciated it more than I can express. Prices are VERY GOOD! Especially on sourdough loafs.

Every time I visit GK Pastry in Mountain View, I usually get the jalapeño cheddar bread (so satisfyingly good, toasted or not), but this time I tried the tomato cheddar bread—crunchy exterior, soft and chewy interior. Awesome toasted. My other go-to is the chocolate jar cake. The chocolate they use is delicious, not too sweet. This time I had the mixberry jar cake. A nice, change-up. Never disappointed. Definitely try and support this local bakery! They opened a new location in Los Altos, too.

bit hyped? Maybe. Maybe not... I found GK Pastry to be a bit on the Pricey side, but very good. GK Pastry is definitely a bakery, at first glance I thought it was a cafe, but no. There is no place inside to sit and enjoy the baked goods, grab your order to go. However, there is plenty of room for one to wait while your order is being prepped. Plenty of parking available in the plaza, so no worries there. The gent behind The gent behind the counter was helpful and informative. #FocacciaEats: ~ Pistachio Dubai Chocolate Focaccia - 4/5 Brilliant interpretation of the trending Viral Dubai Chocolate theme. I haven't seen a Dubai Chocolate Focaccia until I devoured this. Very well done, not too sweet with a balanced amount of Pistachio and Chocolate. ~ Shiitake Mushroom Focaccia - 4/5 Another very good Focaccia. This is basically a slice of a Shiitake Mushroom Focaccia Pizza. Tastes exactly as advertised. I don't mind stopping by again if I'm in the area.
